Debbie – Branch Assistant

Debbie’s interest in archaeology started whilst renovating an old cottage and her new-found passion led her to getting a degree in Archaeology and Landscape History and a Masters in Archaeology.
Over the years, Debbie has built up an impressive portfolio of community archaeology experience with the CBA East Midlands, YAC Fenland, Hallaton Fieldworkers and the Rutland Local History Society.
Debbie specialises in public engagement and has run after-school archaeology clubs. Recently she has worked as a project supervisor in the University of Leicester Archaeology Outreach Team. She is currently the Local Heritage Engagement Coordinator for the Council for British Archaeology.
